8 ounces uncooked penne pasta (about 2 cups)

1 jar (14.5 ounces) Prego® Creamy Parmesan Pesto Sauce
Directions

Cook and drain the penne according to the package directions.

While the penne is cooking, pour the sauce into a 4-quart saucepan and heat over medium heat until hot, stirring often. Add the cooked penne and toss to coat.Sprinkle with fresh basil before serving, if desired.

For Creamy Pesto Pasta with Spinach & White Beans, heat the sauce in a 12-inch skillet. Add the cooked penne, 6 cups fresh baby spinach, 1 can (about 15 ounces) white cannellini beans, rinsed and drained and 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper. Cook and stir over medium heat until the spinach is wilted. Stir in 1/2 tablespoon grated lemon zest and sprinkle with 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
