A big time-saver is the canned chicken, so you only really have to prep the penne to make this Easy Baked Chicken Alfredo Casserole oven ready.

  • 1 pound uncooked penne pasta

  • 1/4 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  • 1 jar (22 ounces) Prego® Homestyle Alfredo Sauce

  • 2 cans (12.5 ounces each) Swanson® Premium White Chicken Breast in Water, drained

  • 1 3/4 cups frozen peas or 1 can (15 ounces) sweet peas, drained (about 1 3/4 cups)

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (about 4 ounces)


  1. Cook and drain the penne according to the package directions. While the penne is cooking, heat the oven to 400°F. Stir the bread crumbs and oil in a small bowl.

  2. Stir the cooked penne, sauce, chicken, peas, and cheese in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon the mixture into a 13x9x2-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with the breadcrumb mixture. Cover the baking dish.
