3 Step Easy Skillet Chicken Parmesan

5 ingredients and 25 minutes make this a quick and easy dish to serve four. All the flavors of Chicken Parmesan come together in one skillet- sautéed chicken, Italian sauce and Parmesan cheese. Melted mozzarella on top adds the perfect finishing touch!

Serves: 4 people


  • 4 small skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (about 1 1/4 pounds)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 ½ cups Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce (or your favorite Prego® Italian Sauce)

  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (about 6 ounces)


  1. Season the chicken as desired. Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6 minutes or until well browned on both sides.

  2. Stir the sauce and the Parmesan cheese in the skillet. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

  3. Sprinkle with the mozzarella and cover to melt.
